Casey Holm enters his fifth season as Head Men's Soccer Coach at UW-Eau Claire in 2025. Holm took over the Blugolds men's soccer team upon its formation in 2021 and has immediately turned it into a national-level contender. He has guided UW-Eau Claire to two appearances in the NCAA Tournament (2022, 2023) and one regional championship. Holm's Blugolds reached the Sweet 16 in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, where they narrowly fell 4-3 to eventual national champion St. Olaf. He carries a career 3-1-1 record in the NCAA Tournament. Through his first three seasons as head coach, Holm has steered the Blugolds to an overall record of 47-11-3 — good for a .795 winning percentage. His teams have produced one All-American and seven All-Region honorees. Prior to arriving in Eau Claire, Holm served as the executive director and coaching director at the Hudson Soccer Club. His efforts in the creation of the Western Wisconsin High School Girls Program has reached many high schools and players throughout the Chippewa Valley. In addition, he worked with Sporting St. Croix as the boys technical director, college recruiting coordinator, and affiliate director staff. During his time with St. Croix, Holm collected five State Cup championships and made it to the US Youth Soccer National League tournament twice as a coach of his academy teams. Before the youth program positions, Holm was an assistant coach, recruiting coordinator and director of operations at the University of St. Thomas (Minn.). Along with his recruiting roles, he was part of the coaching staff that was awarded NCAA Regional Staff of the Year and MIAC Staff of the Year in 2016-17. Holm helped lead the Tommies to the NCAA Tournament three times. They reached the Final Four in 2016, the Elite Eight in 2017, and the Sweet 16 in 2018. During his time at St. Thomas, the team posted a cumulative record of 58-8-5. Ahead of his NCAA coaching days, Holm was the varsity head coach for North St. Paul High School from 2007-2017. In his 11 seasons, he was a part of a 2013 Minnesota state championship team, seven consecutive Metro East Conference titles, and held the best winning percentage among Minnesota high school coaches from 2011-2017. He was also named the NSCAA Minnesota High School Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2013. In his days of playing, Holm suited up for Dakota County Tech (NJCAA), Upper Iowa University (NCAA), and served as a Minnesota Thunder (USL-1) training player. Holm currently resides in Lakeland, Minn. with his fiance Nikki and their daughter, Camryn.

Dan Nettleton enters his Fourth year as an Assistant Men's Soccer coach at UW-Eau Claire in 2025.

Sam Ryf enters his second season as assistant coach for the swimming and diving teams at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2025-26. A four-time letter winner at UW-Eau Claire, Ryf was an instrumental part of the Blugolds' success during his four years at UWEC and was named team captain in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. Ryf finished his final season of competition on a high note with conference titles in the 400-yard medley relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay as well as a second place finish in the 200-yard butterfly at the 2024 WIAC Championships. Outside of the pool, Ryf was named to UWEC's Dean's List numerous semesters and made the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll in 2022 and 2024. Along with his impactful Blugold career, Ryf brings coaching experience from the Division I level and in the Eau Claire community to UW-Eau Claire. Ryf spent the summer of 2022 at the University of Tennessee and working with their Strength and Conditioning staff with a variety of Volunteer sports. Ryf has also spent the last year at the Eau Claire YMCA as a Swim Coach teaching fundamental techniques and developed to the area's youth.
