Dipen Patel
Head Coach
Dipen Patel completed his third season leading UW-River Falls Volleyball in the fall of 2024. In his three seasons at UWRF, Patel and the Falcons have compiled a 54-42 overall record, a trio of wins over nationally ranked opponents, and a pair of WIAC Tournament appearances, including a WIAC Tournament Semifinal appearance in 2023. Patel has coached five Falcons to All-Conference awards along with an AVCA All-Region honor for Sami Hilley in 2023, the program's first since 2012. Patel was named UWRF's 13th head volleyball coach in school history in February of 2022, and brought over nine over nine years of coaching experience, including positions at the Division I, II, and III levels. Before UWRF, Patel was the lead assistant coach at fellow WIAC member University of Wisconsin-La Crosse since 2019, where he helped guide the Eagles to a pair of WIAC Tournament appearances while receiving the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Thirty Under 30 Award. During his time in La Crosse, Patel also was the V-Hawk Extreme Volleyball head club coach and led the 2021 team to a 32-15 record and first place finish at the Chicago Jr. National Tournament. Before his time at UW-La Crosse, Patel had coaching stints at the high school and club level, including positions at San Francisco State University, Eastern Illinois University, and USA Volleyball. At Eastern Illinois as a graduate assistant coach, he was responsible for scouting, developing game strategies, and assisting in recruiting. Patel was the head girls' volleyball coach at Mattoon (Ill.) High School in 2018, leading the team to a 28-9 varsity record and winning three tournament titles while advancing to the regional championship. He was also the head coach of Club 217 with a 32-12 record and top-30 finish at the AAU National Championships. Patel began his coaching career at his high school alma mater in 2011. He served as head volleyball coach, administrative assistant and camp director at Pacific Rim Volleyball Academy in Pleasant Hill, Calif., from 2012-17. Other coaching experience includes Albany (Calif.) High School (varsity head coach) and College Park (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) High School (varsity assistant and head coach). Patel led the No. 2-ranked team in the country to back-to-back National Championships in USA Volleyball's Open Division in 2014 and 2015. A California native, Patel graduated from San Francisco State in 2017 before earning a master's degree in Kinesiology and Sports Studies at Eastern Illinois in 2019.

Beth Raebel
Associate Head Coach
Beth Raebel joined the UW-River Falls volleyball program as an assistant coach in 2019 as was elevated to associate head coach in 2023. Before UWRF, Raebel served as the head volleyball coach at Burnsville High School in Burnsville, Minn. She started as the junior varsity coach at Burnsville in 2012 and is a 2018 recipient of the AVCA Top 30 Under 30 Award. Raebel has coached club volleyball since 2012 throughout Iowa and Minnesota. Prior to her time at Burnsville High School, Raebel had coaching stints at her alma maters, Pipestone High School (MN) and Dordt College (IA). A two-year member of the Dordt College volleyball team, Raebel earned a bachelor's degree from Dordt and a master's from Minnesota State, Mankato. She is a Pipestone Area High School alumna, and helped lead the volleyball team to a pair of Minnesota State Tournaments. Beth and her husband, Derek, have two sons, David (5) and Gabriel (1).

Isaac Farrey
Assistant Coach
I joined the University of Wisconsin - River Falls coaching staff in the fall of 2020 as a student assistant coach. While a member of the UW - River Falls coaching staff I served as a student assistant coach for the past three seasons and will be transitioning into a part-time assistant coach for the 2023-24 season. My primary responsibilities include preparing serve-receive and defensive strategies for matches and helping train our defensive specialists and liberos. During my playing career, I was a four-year member of the University of Wisconsin - River Falls men's club volleyball team from 2019 to 2023 where I served as a two-year captain and four-year starting libero. I garnered Wisconsin Volleyball Conference Honorable Mention accolades during the 2022 season. I was also able to help my team place third in Division 2AA at the NCVF National Championships during the 2023 season. Other previous coaching experience includes assistant coaching the 17-1's at Crossfire Volleyball in Champlin, Minnesota.

Roger Worsley
Assistant Coach
Worsley joined the UWRF Volleyball coaching staff for the 2025 season. A highly respected figure nationally, he brings a wealth of coaching experience at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. As a co-founder and co-director of the Pacific Rim Volleyball Academy (CA), Worsley has guided teams to premier national and regional successes. His squads claimed NCVA regional titles multiple times from the U14 onward, achieved open-level national championships at the U17 (2014) and U18 (2015) levels, and earned open-level Silver in the 2021 Junior National Championships. At Albany High School, he led the Cougars to a flawless 51-0 league record over four seasons and steered them to the CIF State Championship match in 2011, earning East Bay Volleyball Coach of the Year honors. He served as technical director for Stanford Men’s Volleyball, contributing to their 2010 NCAA Division I National Championship. Previously, Worsley assisted the University of Hawai‘i’s men’s and women’s teams during their NCAA Final Four Appearances. Collegiate head coaching experiences include compiling over 300 wins at the helm of Williams Wood College and Rochester Institute of Technology College. Worsley was selected via the USADSF to lead a national volleyball program, most notably the men’s national team, underscoring his high-performance coaching pedigree.
