Eveline Parsons enters her second season as head coach of the Yellowjacket women's basketball program in 2026-27. She was named to the position June 13, 2025. In her first season at the helm, she guided her squad to the NCAA Tournament, defeating Minnesota Morris 68-59 in the UMAC semifinals before capturing the program's fifth UMAC postseason tournament championship with a 78-51 win inside Mertz Mortorelli Gym. She mentored juniors Hope Carlson and Maddie Reott to the All-UMAC Second Team while MyKenzie Leccia nabbed a spot on the All-UMAC Defensive Team. Parsons arrived in Superior after serving as an assistant coach at UW-Stevens Point since the 2022-23 campaign. There she was tasked with coordinating the recruiting efforts of the Pointers while playing a pivotal role in practice planning, budget management, and overall function of the program.   During the 2024-25 season, Parsons contributed to UW-Stevens Point returning to the NCAA Tournament since 2015-16, collecting 18 wins and receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll on numerous occasions. Before her time with UWSP, Parsons spent a pair of seasons with NCAA Division II Tusculum, spending a year as a graduate assistant before being promoted to assistant coach/head JV coach.   In addition to her coaching stints, Parsons has sharpened her player development skills through various camps and clinics throughout the youth and high school levels.   A native of Metarie, La., Parsons was a four-year member of the women's basketball team at NCAA Division III Berry. Owen Theune commences his first season as an assistant coach for Eveline Parsons in 2025-26. He supports the program in all of its facets. Theune arrives to Superior after spending a pair of seasons at his alma mater, NCAA Division III Ripon. During the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, he was tasked with player development and opponent scouting, along with other necessity duties that aided the overall function of the women's basketball program.  A native of Waupun, Wis., Theune was a four-year member of the men's basketball team at Ripon. Theune is tied for second place with most games played in school history (104). He aided the Red Hawks to a Midwest Conference (MWC) Tournament Championship in 2019-20, marking the second time in four years Ripon advanced to the NCAA Tournament.  Theune graduated from Ripon with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management in 2023. He furthered his education with a Master's Degree in sports management in 2025, also at Ripon. Theune resides in Superior.
