Jalynn Landversicht

Assistant Coach

Jalynn Landversicht joined the Valpo women's basketball program as a graduate assistant in August 2025. Landversicht was a multi-sport athlete at Georgetown College. On the basketball court, she tallied 595 points and 400 rebounds over her four seasons as a Tiger, after starting her collegiate career with one season at UT-Martin. Her career was highlighted by a 21-point performance against Mid-America Nazarene to help Georgetown advance in the NAIA Tournament during her redshirt junior campaign. Landversicht was named a MSC All-Academic honoree on multiple occasions. Also a member of the Georgetown track and field program, Landversicht was a standout in the high jump, finishing second in the event at the 2023 MSC Outdoor Championships after placing third in each of the previous two seasons and advancing to the NAIA National Championships all three years. She also earned a runner-up finish in the javelin throw at the 2023 championship meet as well. At UT-Martin, she broke the program's high jump record and placed 9th at the OVC Championships in the event, while also contributing to the program record-setting 4x100m relay squad. Landversicht earned bachelor's degrees from Georgetown in marketing and art.

Morgan Sharps

Assistant Coach

Morgan Sharps joined the Valpo women's basketball program as a graduate assistant in August 2025. Sharps most recently spent one season playing basketball professionally overseas in Europe, suiting up for Club Baloncesto Al-Qázeres in Spain and CAB Madeira in Portugal. Sharps completed her collegiate career at Bowling Green, where she played her final three seasons, in 2023-24, finishing as the program's all-time leader in 3-pointers made/game. She also ranks fifth in program history in 3-point percentage and sixth in total 3-pointers made. Sharp averaged 15.1 points/game in her final season as a Falcon, earning Second Team All-MAC honors. Prior to Bowling Green, Sharps spent two years at Xavier, where she appeared in 38 games and made 15 starts. Combining her tenures at BGSU and Xavier, Sharps finished her collegiate career with 1,120 points scored and 254 3-pointers made. Sharps earned her bachelor's degree from BGSU in sports management and is currently enrolled in Valpo's sports administration graduate program.

Dale Linderwell

Assistant Coach

Dale Linderwell joined the Valpo women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2025 and enters his first season on staff in 2025-26. Linderwell has enjoyed success on the bench alongside Beacon head coach Courtney Boyd for the last eight seasons, the last two at Quincy after six seasons as an assistant at Clarke.   At Clarke, Linderwell was on staff as the Pride won the NAIA national championship in 2022-23. Clarke won 155 games in Linderwell's six seasons as an assistant coach, winning at least 20 games every season and surpassing the 30-win mark twice. The Pride earned bids to the NAIA Tournament five times, advancing to the round of 16 all four years the tournament was played and making three appearances in the national quarterfinals.   When Boyd became head coach at Quincy prior to the 2023-24 season, Linderwell joined her coaching staff there as well. He helped the Hawks to a 25-8 record in 2024-25, a 15-win improvement over the prior season, as they captured their first GLVC tournament title since 2005, had their best GLVC regular season finish since 2011 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016.   Prior to joining the collegiate coaching ranks, Linderwell spent nine years coaching high school basketball in Iowa. A track and field athlete at Iowa Wesleyan during his college years, he earned the NAIA Champion of Character Award during his sophomore season. Linderwell graduated from Iowa Wesleyan in 2008 with a degree in sport management and business marketing and went on to earn his MBA from Clarke.

Da'Veonna Nash

Assistant Coach

Da'Veonna Nash joined the Valpo women's basketball program as a graduate assistant in August 2025. Nash recently completed a four-year career playing basketball at Mount Union, where she was an Honorable Mention All-OAC selection in each of her final two seasons. She appeared in 96 games, starting 66 times, and tallied 655 points and 323 rebounds. Nash earned CSC Academic All-District accolades in her final three years.  A multi-sport athlete for the Raiders, Nash was also a member of the track and field program. She ran the leadoff leg for the conference champion 4x100m relay at the OAC Outdoor Championships in 2024. Nash participated in the WBCA "So You Want to Be a Coach" program in conjunction with the Women's Final Four in the spring of 2025. In the spring of 2024, she had the opportunity to be the head coach in a non profit organization called Ladies First Akron Inc., where she coached a 4th grade AAU travel girls basketball team. A native of Akron, Ohio, Nash graduated from Mount Union with a bachelor's degree in physical education/health and a minor in coaching. She is currently enrolled in Valpo's sports administration graduate program.

Brooke Bailey

Assistant Coach

Brooke Bailey joined the Valpo women's basketball program as an assistant coach in April 2025. Bailey spent the last two seasons coaching alongside new Valpo head coach Courtney Boyd at Quincy as the head assistant coach, helping guide the Hawks to 35 wins over her two years on staff. In 2024-25, she helped lead Quincy to a 25-8 record, its first GLVC tournament title since 2005, its best GLVC regular season finish since 2011 and its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2016.    Prior to Quincy, Bailey spent two seasons on staff as an assistant coach at Hillsdale. After winning just four games in the season prior to Bailey’s arrival, the Chargers won 13 games in 2021-22 and 17 games in 2022-23, advancing to the G-MAC Tournament in the latter season for the first time since 2018-19.   Bailey played collegiately at Truman State, where she capped her career by earning Second Team All-GLVC honors as a senior, playing on a squad which set a program record with 23 wins and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. A three-year starter and two-year team captain, Bailey ranks among Truman State’s career leaders in games played.   Following her graduation with a bachelor’s degree in health science from Truman State in 2019, Bailey headed overseas, where she was the starting point guard and team captain for one season of professional basketball with the Caledonia Pride of the Women’s British Basketball League. While playing for the Pride, Bailey earned a master’s degree in strength and conditioning from the University of Edinburg.

Andrew Whitt

Assistant Coach

Andrew Whitt joined the Valpo women's basketball program in the summer of 2024 and enters his second year on staff as an assistant coach - his first under Courtney Boyd. With Whitt on staff in 2024-25, the Beacons had an eight-win improvement from the previous season and jumped 84 spots in the NET rankings. He worked primarily on the defensive side of the ball, where Valpo improved its scoring defense by over five points per game despite playing at a faster pace than the previous season. Whitt enters the collegiate coaching ranks for the first time with the Beacons, coming from a prep background. Most recently, he spent two seasons as the head girl's basketball coach at Hilliard Bradley H.S. Prior to that, Whitt served as an assistant coach for two years at Lancaster H.S. and as an assistant coach for two seasons at Albany Alexander H.S. Outside of the school ranks, he also spent the last three years as the co-director of the Ohio Future Girls AAU program, coaching within the program as well. Whitt played one season of collegiate basketball at Ohio Christian University before transferring to Ohio University, where he graduated with his bachelor's degree in political science and history. He went on to earn a master's in teaching from Muskingum University.

Jasmine Hackett

Jasmine Hackett joined the Valpo women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2025 and is entering her first season on staff in 2025-26. Hackett comes to Valpo after spending the 2024-25 campaign as an assistant coach at Northern Illinois, where she helped guide a pair of Mid-American Conference postseason award winners. Prior to that, she spent one season on staff as an assistant coach at William Jewell in 2023-24 and served as a graduate assistant at Mount Mercy in 2022-23.   Hackett got her start in coaching in the travel basketball ranks, spending four years as a coach for the All Iowa Attack ­in the Nike EYBL. She played collegiately at the University of Sioux Falls, graduating in 2020.

Luke Campbell

Coach

Luke Campbell joined the Valpo Athletics staff in the summer of 2023. He currently serves as Director of Sport Performance for the Valpo football and women's basketball programs.  Campbell garnered Power-5 experience at his previous two stops, serving as a professional intern for football strength & conditioning at The Ohio State University and at Michigan State University. A Lewis Center, Ohio native, Campbell played football at Michigan State during his undergraduate tenure as a four-year letterwinner who saw action in 43 career games and made 26 starts. He was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team five times, one of five players in program history to do so. The 2021 team captain on the Peach Bowl Championship team, Campbell trained under highly-regarded strength & conditioning coaches Ken Mannie and Jason Novak. He earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State in December 2020 before completing his master’s in sport coaching and leadership in August 2022.

Sky Culbertson

Sky Culbertson joined the Valpo women's basketball coaching staff as special assistant to the head coach in the summer of 2025 and enters her first season on staff in 2025-26. Culbertson is no stranger to working with Beacon head coach Courtney Boyd, as she played for Boyd on the NAIA national champions at Clarke and coached alongside her the last two years as a graduate assistant at Quincy, helping to lead the Hawks to a 25-8 record in 2024-25 and their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2016.   Culbertson was a standout on the hardwood at Clarke, starting at point guard each of her final four seasons. She holds program career records for assists and 3-point percentage and was a two-time All-Conference honoree. Over her five years, the Pride won 135 games — culminating with the program's national championship run in 2023.
