Barrett has coached 19 NAIA Scholar Athletes and frive First Team All-Conference recipients. Following a stellar year in 2014-15, the V-Hawks again had an impressive season. Viterbo matched the previous season with three victories and placed in the top two teams in eight out of 10 tournaments for the year. The V-Hawks round two team score of 321 at the Mount Mercy Invitational set a new school record by one stroke. Viterbo had one of their best seasons in 2014-15 as they earned three victories and had five other top-three finishes. The V-Hawks recorded three of the program's top 36-hole scores this past school year and had three all-conference recipients. In 2013-14, the V-Hawks continued growth to the young program as they continually competed among the top teams in each tournament they played in. As a team, the V-Hawks finished in the top three in eight out of nine completed tournaments highlighted by a victory at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational.Viterbo continued their tradition of being one of the top teams in the Midwest Collegiate Conference as they finished third at the MCC Championships. Barrett joined the V-Hawks in 2007 while enjoying retirement (2005) from the La Crosse School district. Barrett spent 34 years teaching math including the final 30 years at La Crosse Central High School. While teaching, Barrett also enjoyed opportunities coaching boys basketball and girls golf. In 1997, Barrett took over a storied girls golf program and helped continue a tradition. He led the Raiders to six state tournament appearances in nine seasons as the head coach including a state championship in 1998. He also coached four girls that went on to play golf at the college level. Barrett also found success on the basketball court as he coached the Raiders boys basketball team for 22 years. During his time as basketball coach, Barrett led the Raiders to 2 state tournament appearances including a state runner-up position in 1979. For his accomplishments on the court, Barrett was inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2005. Thanks to his success in the basketball realm and leadership in coaching, Barrett was inducted into the National High School Basketball Coaches Association's Court of Honor on July 13, 2016. Barrett graduated from UW-La Crosse with a history/mathematics degree. He is a member at Forest Hills Golf Course in La Crosse, Wis. Ken has three children who are all educators. His son Korey is a music professor at the University of Northern Iowa, while his daughter Jamie is a math teacher at Bangor Middle School, and his other daughter, Sarah is a special education teacher at Cashton. Barrett lives in La Crosse with his wife Carol, the women's golf team's "La Crosse Mom." is entering her sixth season as an assistant coach for the womens golf program. Zucco joined the V-Hawk program after spending eight seasons as the head softball coach at Bangor High School. Zucco is also entering her thirteenth year as a middle school English teacher in Bangor. An advid golfer, Zucco played collegiately from 1995-1997 for the Blugolds at UW-Eau Claire. In 1999, Zucco graduated with her education degree from UWEC. She then went onto earn her masters degree from UW-La Crosse in 2004. Zucco resides in West Salem, Wis. and considers Sparta Golf Course her home course.
