Mark Clouse
Head Coach
Clouse is a Class A PGA Golf Professional with extensive experience in coaching and instruction. He launched his career in collegiate coaching when he served as the men's golf coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato from 1994-2003. He was voted North Central Conference Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2001 and also guided his teams to a conference championship and five consecutive NCAA Regional Tournaments during his tenure. In 2003, Clouse relocated with his family to the Dominican Republic after accepting a position as Director of Golf at Guavaberry Golf and Country Club. Coach Clouse worked extensively with the Dominican Golf Federation to grow the game of golf and improve the level of play in the country. Clouse was the Dominican Republic National Coach, training teams to compete in numerous tournaments, including the World Team Amateur Championships, Junior World Championships, Americas' Cup, and the Caribbean Amateur Championships. In 2006, Clouse became the Director of Golf at the Punta Espada Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus designed course located on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic that is a Top 100 ranked facility and hosted the PGA Champions Tour Cap Cana Championship from 2008-2010. Clouse has instructed players from novice to scratch golfers, and many of his students have played collegiately and professionally. In addition, Clouse has appeared as a guest instructor on the Golf Channel and caddied on both the PGA Tour and PGA Champions Tour. Mark and his wife, Beth, have four children, Tyler Woods, Jackson Nicklaus, Lindsay Noelle, and Samantha Sofia. Cody Rozales enters his first season as assistant coach for the Waldorf University mens and womens golf programs. A New Richmond, Wis. native, Rozales graduated from New Richmond High School in 2011 where he was one of the top recruits in his class for golf. Following high school, Rozales played collegiate golf for four years. He attended Waldorf College as a freshman and turned in a successful season, earning all-Midwest Collegiate Conference (MCC) honors in 2012. Rozales transferred to Midwestern State University as a sophomore and was part of an NCAA Division II team that captured a Lone Star Conference (LSC) championship. He returned to Waldorf as a senior, claimed first place in the NIACC Spring Invitational and averaged 72.45 strokes per round throughout the year as one of the team leaders for the Warriors. Rozales graduated from Waldorf in 2015 with a bachelors of arts degree in business management. After completing his eligibility in golf, he served as a seasonal coach for the Warriors during the 2015-16 academic year. Rozales resides in Forest City and is currently pursuing a masters of arts degree in operations management at Waldorf.
