Walsh University Women's Soccer

Lewicki is in her first year as an assistant coach at Walsh University.  She was previously the head coach at Urbana University for three years (2011-2013) and was an assistant coach at Defiance College for two years (2009-2011). Lewicki played collegiately at Wheeling Jesuit University for four years, and started between the pipes all four years earning all-conference honors three times and all-regional accolades once. Lauren received her undergraduate degree in respiratory therapy from Wheeling Jesuit in 2008, and her master's in education (sports science) from Defiance in 2011.  

Head Coach Hannah Brown has led the Cavalier Women's Soccer program since the fall of 2023. Brown previously served as Head Coach at Mount Union in 2022.  Leading the Raiders, she took the team to the OAC Tournament, had two OAC All-Conference players, and 11 OAC All-Academic Athletes.  Before Mount Union, Brown spent 12 years at UC Merced in Merced, California. She was an assistant coach from 2012-2017 and was head coach from 2017-2021. As head coach, she made the Cal Pac Tournament all five season and was runner up 4/5 times.  Hannah played collegiately at Ashland University, eventually graduating with her Bachelors degree in Sports Management from the University of Akron in 2011. In 2013, she received her Masters in Sports Administration from Fresno State.  Native of Massillion, Ohio, Brown said, "I'm excited to be at Walsh because it was an opportunity for me to coach at the Division II level in the area where I grew up. The University and Athletic Department are passionate about the student-athlete experience. I was immediately drawn to the emphasis on development of our student-athletes both on the field and in the classroom. I am looking forward to carrying that on with our Women's Soccer program. As head coach, I hope to take a program that has proven success and to build upon that tradition to new heights. Working alongside a great coaching staff and department makes that process exciting. I'm eager to learn our team's traditions and build new ones, while working hard to bring success to our team and department."

Lauren Lindesmith has been with the Cavaliers for the last two seasons at Walsh University after spending the last three years at Malone University with the Pioneer's women's soccer program. Lindesmith is a 2014 graduate of Walsh University. As a student athlete, Lindesmith appeared in 68 matches for the Cavaliers and was twice voted to the All-Conference Team. She also served as the Cavaliers' team captain and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University.Lauren brings a lot of soccer experience back to Walsh. She has been a coach and administrator with Canton Force Soccer club since 2013. Prior to working with the Force, Lauren also assisted with the Jackson Fury Soccer Program.Lauren is currently a teacher in the Canton City School District, and resides with her husband, Jordan, in Jackson Township.
