Jordan Vincent

Assistant Coach

Jordan Vincent is making his move from the team to the coaching staff after three seasons as a member of the Ichabods. As an Ichabod he appeared in 18 games averaging 4.0 ppg and has been a three-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. Vincent spent the 2020-21 season playing at Sunrise Christian Academy. As a senior at Eisenhower High School, Vincent averaged 24 points, seven rebounds and seven assists a game leading the state in assists, free throws attempts and makes en route to first team all-state, league MVP and first team honors as well as earning nominations for both the Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year and McDonald’s All-American accolades. As a junior he averaged 24 points per game with six assists and five rebounds scoring over the 30-point mark six times as he was a first team all-league, SportsInKansas first team all-state and SportsInKansas all-class second team. His sophomore season he averaged 10 points per game with four assists and was a second team all-league selection and averaged four points a game as a freshman.  He is the son of Bryan and Heather Vincent and has a brother, Dylan and graduated in 2025 with his degree in communications.

Jake Schadegg

Assistant Coach

Jake Schadegg begins his first season as a student assistant coach after wrapping up a three-year playing career for the Ichabods. Over his Washburn career, he has appeared in 56 games with one start, scoring 181 points while averaging 3.2 points per game. He has also contributed 42 assists and 24 steals and is a three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. As a senior in 2024-25, he played in 24 games and made a start on Senior Day, finishing the season with 50 points. He scored a season-high 12 points against Ottawa in the home opener and connected on 11 of 27 three-point attempts for a 41 percent clip. He was again recognized on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. In 2023-24, he played in 24 games and averaged 5.0 points per game, knocking down 25 of 61 three-pointers while adding 32 assists. He scored a career-high 14 points in the season opener against Sioux Falls, going 4 of 6 from beyond the arc, and recorded five assists in two different games. He was also named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. During the 2022-23 campaign, he appeared in eight games, with seven coming in MIAA play, scoring 10 points with two made three-pointers while adding four rebounds and two steals. He tallied three points in two separate contests and earned MIAA Academic Honor Roll recognition. Before arriving at Washburn, he played at Rend Lake College, where he averaged 11.3 points per game over his career while shooting 39.4 percent from three-point range. As a sophomore, he started all 25 games, averaging 11.3 points and shooting 87 percent from the free-throw line. He also earned academic recognition on the vice president’s and president’s honor rolls. At Mater Dei High School, he averaged 15 points, four rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game as a senior, finishing his career as the school’s all-time leader in three-pointers made. He earned all-state honorable mention honors and was named to the Illinois Basketball Coaches All-State Team. As a junior, he averaged 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists per game. He was a four-year member of the honor roll. A kinesiology major, he is the son of Ron and Shelly and has one sister, Lindsey.

Nick Ferrarini

Assistant Coach

Nick Ferrarini is in his first season as an assistant coach on the Ichabod coaching staff after serving as an assistant basketball coach at Colorado State University Pueblo, where he joined the staff in 2023. He worked in scouting, recruiting, and on-court player development playing a key role in helping the ThunderWolves qualify for the conference tournament in 2023-24—the program’s first appearance since 2016-17. Before joining CSU Pueblo, Ferrarini coached the sophomore summer team at Millard North High School in Omaha from 2018 to 2022, assisting with varsity skill development under head coaches Tim Cannon and Mike Etzelmiller. He also served as an assistant coach for Omaha Sports Academy’s 15U Adidas Gauntlet (now 3SSB) team in 2018, where he was heavily involved in practice planning, individual skill work, and in-game adjustments. In addition, he worked on the staff of the Creighton University Basketball Camp from 2018 to 2022, gaining experience in player instruction, team coaching, and game officiating. As a player, Ferrarini enjoyed a successful college basketball career. He began at Wayne State College, where he scored 1,027 points and helped the Wildcats to two NSIC South Division Championships (2019, 2023) under head coach Jeff Kaminsky. He also played two seasons at the University of Nebraska Omaha for head coach Derrin Hansen, where he tallied 324 points and averaged 8.5 points per game.  Ferrarini earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wayne State College, where he completed his degree in 2023.
