Brandon Spalding, hired in 2013, is in his 13th season as head men's cross country coach and assistant men's track & field coach at Washington and Lee University. He is also an associate professor of physical education at W&L. Nationally, Spalding serves on the USTFCCCA Cross Country Executive Committee since 2019, as the Division III Men's Cross Country South/Southeast Region Representative, contributing to weekly regional and national coaches' polls. Since 2015, he has served as the ODAC Cross Country Chair for his conference peers. Brandon Uhl enters his 13th year as the Norris T. Aldridge Men’s Track and Field Head Coach at Washington and Lee after serving as an assistant coach for the men's and women's programs since 2008. He also serves as an assistant coach with the men's cross country program.
