Webber International University Men's Bowling

Began As Head Coach: Began as Head Coach during the 2011-12 season, but has been the director of Webber bowling since the program’s inception in 2008-09  Season: 2021-22 will be his 11th season as Head Coach and 14th year at Webber overall Accolades: Five official Team National Championships (2012, 2017 and 2018 NAIA National Champions; 2012 and 2019 ITC National Champions) Del is a USBC Certified Gold Level Coach with two PBA national and 10 PBA regional Titles as a player. He was the head coach of the Warriors' men's bowling teams that were both the NAIA and ITC National Champions in 2012, the back-to-back NAIA National Champions in 2017 and 2018, and most recently the second-time ITC National Champions in 2019. Additionally, Webber's ITC National Championship combined with freshman Tom Hankey Jr.'s Intercollegiate Singles Championship (ISC) in 2019 marked the first time in the history of men's collegiate bowling that the same school won both the individual and the team trophy. Warren was the former President of Track International and designed bowling balls for AMF like the Balls of the Year named by Bowling This Month Magazine; 1996 Pearl Ball of the Year - the Bull Whip and 1997 People's Choice Ball of the Year - the Night Hawk. Quick Facts: Teaching Professional Ruben is from Venezuela and has coached and developed programs internationally in places such as Hong Kong, Latvia, Venezuela, Singapore and Indonesia. Has coached world champions such as Dominic Barrett, Clara Guerrero, Diana Zavjalova and Tannya Roumimper. World Coaching Hall of Fame Inductee 2008  Ruben coaches in both English and Spanish.
