Chris Bunch

Head Coach

Chris Bunch enters his 23rd season in as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Webster University for the 2024-25 season.  During his time with the Gorloks, Bunch has led the men's basketball program to nine St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships, including taking home back-to-back league titles in both 2018-19 and 2019-20. In addition, he has been chosen as the SLIAC Coach of the Year seven times ( 2004-05, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2011-12, 2018-19 2019-20, and 2022-23) and was also awarded the D3Hoops.com Central Region Coach of the Year in 2013-14 after leading Webster to a 20-8 overall record, a SLIAC Tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.  Entering the 2023-24 season, Bunch's record stands at 311-225 overall with nine regular season SLIAC titles and seven Coach of the Year accolades. The Gorloks are also 237-95 in SLIAC play during coach Bunch's tenure, the best mark of any conference school in that span. Last season, Webster went 14-13 overall and 10-4 in SLIAC play.  Bunch is the all-time winningest men's basketball coach in Webster history and had led the program to nine SLIAC regular season titles, three SLIAC Tournament titles and three NCAA Tournament appearances (2011, 2014 and 2020). He is the third longest active tenured coach in the SLIAC entering the 2023-24 season. Before coming to Webster, Bunch was an assistant coach at Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn. In addition to his collegiate experience, Bunch served as a high school head basketball coach for seven years in his native state of Tennessee. As a high school coach, Bunch won 100 games and had two teams that were ranked in the Top 10  in the state of Tennessee. Bunch is a 1988 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science Education and a Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision which he received in 2002.  He and his wife, Christine, reside in Kirkwood, Mo.

George Little

Assistant Coach

George Little came to Webster in 2023 after coaching high school basketball for the past 9 years, most recently with Collegiate School of Medicine and Bioscience.   Prior to coaching high school basketball, Little held coaching positions at Lindenwood University, Harris-Stowe State University, and Florissant Valley Community College.   Little served on the coaching staff for the Lindenwood Lady Lions from 2005-2010.  He was responsible for recruiting, as well as assisting with on-floor coaching and game preparation.  Lindenwood improved its overall and conference records in each of the seasons that Little was on staff, and the program reached the HAAC Tournament each year Little was on the bench.   Prior to coaching with Lindenwood, Little was on the men’s basketball coaching staff at Harris-Stowe State University from 2001-2004. While at HSSU, Little coached three American Midwest All-Conference players.   He also has coaching experience at Florissant Valley Community College from 1997-2001 and helped the team to a 24-10 record and a seventh-place national finish. Little was responsible for recruitment, floor coaching and strength and conditioning.   Little earned a Master of Arts degree in Sports Management from Lindenwood University, after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts from Columbia College.

Greg Williams

Assistant Coach

Greg Williams joins the Webster University Men's basketball program for the 2024-25 as an Assistant Coach. Coach Williams brings 28 years of coaching experience to the staff where he has developed players in the high school and junior college ranks.  Prior to Webster, Coach Williams had a three-year stint at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri which was a member of the NJCAA.  Before his time at Jeffco, Coach Williams captured three state championships at Eureka High School in Eureka, Missouri.  As a coach at Webster High School and Warrenton High School, Williams led two separate teams to the quarterfinals.  Prior to those stops, Coach Williams coached five seasons at Bowling Green High School.  Williams graduated from Missouri State with a Master's in Athletic Administration.

Cody Bradfisch

Assistant Coach

Cody Bradfisch joins the Webster University basketball program for the 2024-25 season, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for developing players. He has dedicated over 12 years to coaching basketball, from middle school to collegiate competitions.   Bradfisch served as the Head Boys' Varsity Basketball Coach at Pacific High School for three seasons from 2020 to 2023. During the 2020-2021 season, he earned the Four Rivers Conference Coach of the Year award, leading his team to an impressive 18-9 overall record and a 6-1 conference record. Under his guidance, Pacific achieved a second-place finish in the Class 5, District 2 bracket. As head coach, Bradfisch helped improve the team's GPA dramatically as ten players were named to the Academic All-Conference Team in his last season. He also helped several players achieve their dream of playing collegiate basketball.   Before his time at Pacific, Bradfisch was the Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Warrensburg from 2015 to 2020. His tenure there was marked by success, contributing to a 77-56 (.564) overall record. The Tigers were back-to-back Missouri River Valley Conference (MRVC) Champions in 2019 and 2020. They also won a District Title in 2019 with a remarkable 24-4 overall record.   Before Warrensburg, Bradfisch spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Thomas University (NAIA) in Thomasville, GA, from 2013 to 2015. He was pivotal in launching the basketball program. At Thomas, Bradfisch was responsible for post-player development, scouting, recruiting, and managing academic study halls. His efforts helped secure three All-Conference selections, a Defensive Player of the Year award, and six Academic All-Conference selections. Notably, he contributed to the program's first-ever win in the Sun Conference Tournament during its second season.   As a player, Bradfisch enjoyed a stellar collegiate career at Webster University from 2009 to 2013, where he was part of two SLIAC regular season titles (2011 and 2012) and played a vital role in the 2011 team that finished 20-6 and won the SLIAC Conference Championship, securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament. He served as a two-year captain and earned SLIAC All-Conference honors in 2012. In addition, he was named Webster University's Outstanding Male Scholar Athlete for 2011-2012 and received the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Award in 2013. Academically, Bradfisch was a four-time SLIAC Winter All-Academic Team selection and made the NABC Honors Court in both 2011-12 and 2012-13. Over his career, he played in 93 games, accumulating 867 points, 249 rebounds, 141 assists, and 62 steals while holding the school's career mark for 3-point field goal percentage (39.9%). He ranks in the Top 20 in several career categories, including 3-Point Field Goals Made (10th), Free Throws Made (15th), and Scoring (19th). Additionally, he was named to the All-Decade Men's Basketball Team from the 2010s.   A native of Grafton, IL, Bradfisch graduated from Jersey Community High School before earning a degree in Secondary Education Social Studies from Webster University in 2013. He later completed his Master's degree in Middle Grades Education from Thomas University and is pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Administration at Northwest Missouri State University.   Bradfisch resides in the area with his wife, Ashley, and their children, Calvin and Celina.
