Todd Pratt
Head Coach
Pratt was named West Georgia Tech's Athletic Director in November of 2015, after serving in the Interim capacity for four months. He is charged with leading West Georgia Tech's Athletic Department, which consists of four sports: women's basketball, men's basketall, baseball and softball. The former Major Leaguer will maintain dual roles within the progam - as he will continue to be the school's head baseball coach in addition to his athletic director duties. Todd Pratt is entering his sixth season leading the WGTC baseball program, where over five years he has built a club team into a JUCO Division 1 program. The Golden Knights have grown under Pratt's tutelage both on the field and in the classroom. The Golden Knights finished 3rd in the GCAA State Tournament in two of the four years that they have been a part of Division 1. His Golden Knights are always ranked high in overall GPA and many student-athletes continue their education and playing career at various four-year universities. Pratt was hired as the schools first baseball coach in the fall of 2010. With a pro baseball career that spans more than two decades, Pratt was an integral part of some of Major League Baseballs best teams. He played in the 1993 and 2000 World Series championships and was a standout catcher and a fan favorite for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. Pratts pro career began when he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in round six of the 1985 amateur draft. He has rode the highs and lows of professional baseball around the world, through Minor League farm teams all the way up to the World Series. Through it all, Pratt made his mark on the game with his strong work ethic, loyalty, and intensity he brought to the field. Pratts pro career lasted 22 years with twelve of those in the major leagues. Coach Pratt has been very active in local community events, volunteering his time with numerous charitable organizations. Pratt and his teams have volunteered with efforts to clean up local parks and baseball fields to enhance the experience for the local children. He personally has donated his time to the ALS and the Hudson Family Foundation and continues to help any charitable organizations that ask for his help. In 2012 he was awarded the Volunteer of the Year from the DCHS Tiger Dugout Club. Pratt is also the president of the Sunbelt League, a summer collegiate wooden bat league partially sponsored by Major League Baseball. Prior to being named league president in the Fall of 2013, he was the owner and manager of the Douglasville Bulls team and led the Bulls to the Sunbelt League playoffs in each season since the league was formed, reaching the championships in three of the past four years. They won the championship in 2012. Pratt resides in Douglasville, Georgia, with his wife, Tracy, and their four children: Quade, Jake Ryan, Kolby and Kamille.

Austin Janowski
Assistant Coach
Janowski is entering his sixth season with the West Georgia Technical College Golden Knights baseball program as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. He also assists with compliance and academic progress. Janowski led a pitching staff that helped the Golden Knights to a third-place finish at the 2015 NJCAA Region 17 tournament.
