Noah Seivertson

Head Coach

Noah Seivertson, a 2024 graduate of West Liberty University, was named head coach of the Hilltoppers’ men’s golf program in 2025. A standout during his collegiate career, Seivertson posted a 77.2 scoring average over 30 rounds as a senior. He played a key role in leading West Liberty to a team title at the Malone Fall Classic, where he placed third individually with an even-par 144, and earned a third-place finish at the 2021 Mountain East Conference Championship. Following graduation, Seivertson continued to excel in competition, winning the 2025 Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Championship with a 7-under-par performance over the two-day event. His deep connection to the program, competitive background, and proven leadership on and off the course position him to guide the Hilltoppers into a new era of success.

MR

Mike Ricci

Assistant Coach

Ricci heads into his ninth season as head coach of a Hilltopper golf team that has established itself as one of the elite programs in the Atlantic Region.     A two-time conference Coach of the Year, Ricci led his 2016 WLU squad to another Top 10 regional ranking and the sixth NCAA Division II Tournament bid in the past eight years. Three Hilltoppers earned All-MEC honors with junior Matt Iceton being named to the All-Atlantic Region Team for the third straight year and sophomore Cory Hoshor picking up his second consecutive All-Region berth.     A four-year letterman on the West Liberty golf team during his playing days, Ricci was a member of the 1971 Hilltopper team that won the WVIAC championship and qualified to compete in the NAIA national tournament at Rockford, Ill.     A 1975 West Liberty graduate, Ricci earned a masters degree at West Virginia University. He taught special education and coached football, basketball and track at Woodsdale Junior High School for many years before taking his teaching and coaching skills to Wheeling Park High School in 1992.     As the Patriots head golf coach, he led Wheeling Park to six Ohio Valley Athletic Conference championships, six West Virginia regional titles and the 2002 West Virginia state championship. His team also placed in the top three at the state tournament on three other occasions.     Ricci replaced Roger Waialae at the West Liberty helm prior to the 2008-09 season.
