At the North East Club in Adelaide, he coached U-13 boys and Premier Ladies. He earned his FIH coaching Levels 1 and 2 in Australia. In the last few years, Jeff has picked up coaching again, starting part-time with Western and with the provincial womens team. He has also been helping coach with the Senior National team at ID camps over the last few years, where he has gained a sophisticated level of the concepts and theory of field hockey. Jeff started his field hockey career at the age of twelve. His club affiliation has always been with the G.O.A. Reds, which has been one of the top male teams in North America. Playing club taught him how to balance passion and fun. Jeffs first teams were with the Ontario Summer Games teams in 1992 (Kitchener), 1994 (Guelph) and 1996 (London). He then went on to play for Ontario from the ages 14 to 23 and at the Junior and Senior levels for both indoor and outdoor field hockey. Progressing from provincial teams, Jeff went on to play nationally from the ages of 15 to 23 for both indoor and outdoor. Playing for the national team, Jeff was able to travel all over the world including Austria, Argentina (Junior Pan Americans), Chile (World Cup Qualifier) and Scotland (Indoor World Cup). The Canadian team earned a top place finish at the Indoor World Cup in 1999. Jeff also played professionally in Adelaide, Australia, for Club North East for two seasons. Updated on June 16, 2016
