Whittier College Men's Tennis

At the age of 19 I was put into the Head Coachs position at my former high school, there I turned the program around winning the first title the school has won in six years, then immediately after getting to the CIF D1 Quarterfinals. At the age of 22 I became the womans assistant at College of the Canyons where I started my collegiate coaching experience, at COC I coached up multiple All-Conference players. At the age of 23 Im currently an Assistant Mens and Womens tennis coach for NCAA Whittier College, where I am the main assistant coach, here Im coaching/mentoring the players, recruiting, and assisting in admin work for the Director of Tennis. During the season I was promoted to Interim Women's Tennis Head Coach, where I coached a player to our first SCIAC player of the week in 5 years, first All Conference selection in 5 years, as well as the first QF appearance since 2014 at the Ojai tournament. As well as most of the team hit their highest UTR rating during that season. I focused on positive coaching methods, with installing a hard working culture and a family like team culture. Private Instruction wise Ive developed multiple NCAA level players, and have trained players to scholarships in DI and DII as well as getting them offers in all college divisions. I created Ascension Tennis Academy, that originated in Santa Clarita, CA. That trained high performance players (up into the top 50 of So Cal) to get to the college level. I built my program from the ground up, eventually reach 30+ top high school players in the area in the program with more younger players coming in as well. The philosophy was designed to have intense training with positive, and personable coaching. Players that came in went from being a bottom player on their high school team to reaching new heights of placing in all conference teams and getting to the CIF individuals and beyond. Ascension Tennis Academy got players in collegiate tennis as well.
