Baugh was an assistant coach on the 2015 Red River Athletic Conference Championship track and field teams. In his first season as track and field coach, Baugh led the men's track and field team to its third-straight Red River Athletic Conference Championship and a third-place finish in the NAIA Championship, which is the best national performance by a Wiley College Athletic squad. Baugh was named Red River Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. Freshman Moriba Morain won the 100-meter dash championship at 10.09 which is the best time by a Wiley College runner since 2008. Freshman Marbeq Edgar won the 800-meter run at 1:49.24, which is also a Wiley College best since 2008. Morain also has the best time in the 200-meter dash at 20.76. Edgar has the best time in the 1,500-meter run at 3:53.44. Leonard Kiprono has the best time since 2008 in the 10,000-meter run at 34:01 and the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 9:37.40. Kendell Perouza owns the top times in the 300-meter and 400-meter hurdles at 38.72 and 53.89, respectively. In Baugh's first season, the WIldcats set new marks in the 4 x 100-meter relay (40.19), 4 x 200-meter relay (1:26.24) and the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (3:23.25). Baugh led the Lady Wildcats cross country team to a second-place finish at the Red River Athletic Conference meet. Candice Higgins, Maureen Rono, Iryine Chelangat and Ethel Ajanga qualified for the NAIA Championship. In his first season as women's head track coach, Baugh led the Lady Wildcats to their second-straight Red River Athletic Conference title and a 13th-place finish at the NAIA meet - which was an improvement of six places. The Lady Wildcats had six All-Americans - Terrisa Mark, Danielle David, Ethel Ajanga, Candice Higgins, Chriss Ann Thomas and Kenisha Arthur. The Lady Wildcats set new marks in several events. Ajanga's time of 54.73 is the best in the 400-meter dash since 2008. Higgins set a new mark of 10:37.30 in the 3,000-meter run. Ebony Carr set a new mark of 5.13 in the long jump. The Lady Wildcats set new marks in the 4 x 200-meter relay (1:42.06), 4 x 400-meter relay (3:44.10) and the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (3:50.81). Before coming to Wiley College, Baugh spent 14 years as a volunteer coach for Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Texas, North Mesquite High School in Dallas and Paul Quinn College. He's also had the chance to work with professional athletes including Steve Slowly, Dean Griffiths and Jerome Young. Baugh helped Talbert Peoleon set a personal best of 46.82 in the 400-meter run, Phillip Smith, who finished second at the 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association Meet in the 400-meter dash, set a personal best of 46.60 in the 400-meter run in 2015, Emelio Ferguson ran a personal best of 10.15 in the 100-meter dash, Quinn-Lee Ralph run a personal best of 10.46 in the 100-meter dash and 21.15 in the 200-meter dash, Daniel-Neil Telesford, who finished second in the 200-meter dash at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics meet, run a personal best in the 100-meter dash of 10.29 and 20.53 in the 200-meter dash and Slowly run a 10.10 in the 100-meter dash. Baugh ran high school track in Brooklyn, New York, and competed one year at Norfolk State. He also ran in Jamaica, El Salvador and Australia.
