Lunda Dickson
Assistant Coach
Dickson returns to Wilkes as an assistant coach to the Lady Colonels field hockey team in 2016. This will mark her sixth season on the Wilkes sidelines, after previously serving as the assistant coach from 2007-2009 where she coached along side of head coach Sara Myers. Dickson is responsible for coordinating all teams offensive strategies against opponents, creating/developing offensive corners, and will assist with recruiting efforts. Her field hockey experience comes from many highlights and awards as a player. Dickson ranks fifth in both Misericordias all-time scoring points history and all-time goals scored, third in all-time assists, and second in games started. Dickson was named PAC Rookie of the Year as a freshman at Misericordia, as well as PAC honorable mention as a sophomore and junior, and was also named PAC Second Team and Captain as a senior. Dickson is currently the Director of Coaching and Administration for KaPow Hockey Klub, where she develops hockey curriculum for U6-U12 club members, is in charge of fundraising, and does administrative work for the club. The impressive experience continues with KaPow where Dickson is the Head Coach for U14, U16, and U19 teams. She has guided the 2012 U16 team to a Gold Medal at the USA National Indoor Tourtament and has led the recent 2013 U12 Jr. Disney team to a USA Silver medal. Other previous coaching positions include volunteer field hockey assistant for Kings College in 2011, head coach of the USA Futures Program from 2007-2013, and was recently the head coach of Wyoming Area School Disctrict from 2012-2014 where she won a Keystone Gold Medal. Dickson graduated from Misericordia University in 2006 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration.

Kelsey Zook
Assistant Coach
Zook begins her second season as a graduate assistant for the Wilkes field hockey team in 2016. Zook is no stranger to Wilkes having played at Freedom Conference foe Delaware Valley University for three seasons after transferring from Penn State. As a sophomore in 2012, Zook earned All-Freedom Second Team honors after leading the Aggies with a team-high 19 points on seven goals and five assists. For her play on the field and work in the classroom she was selected to the Philadelphia Inquirer Field Hockey Academic All-Area Team and NFCA National Academic Squad. As a junior in 2013, she started in all 21 games serving as a team captain on a squad that clinched a conference tournament bid. Zook was named First Team All-Freedom Conference posting 19 points on seven goals and five helpers. She also repeated as a selection on multiple academic squads including the MAC All-Academic, Philadelphia Inquirer and NFCA academic squads. As a senior last year, Zook totaled 16 points on six goals and four assists clinching her third straight All-Freedom honor as well as multiple academic postseason awards. Zook graduated with a degree in Animal Science in December 2014. She will pursue her MBA at Wilkes.

Brittany Blass
Assistant Coach
Blass begins her second season as an assistant coach at Wilkes following a fine career at Division I Lafayette College. Blass was a four-year started at Lafayette posting career totals of 48 points on 18 goals and 12 assists in 75 games played. She accounted for seven game-winning goals during her time with the Leopards on way to being named a four-time All-Patriot League selection. As a freshman, she earned Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors after being one of four Lafayette players on the all-conference team. Blass also was a two-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFCA) Mideast Region selection. Blass, a three-sport athlete at Crestwood High School, played field hockey, swimming and softball. She led her team to the District II AA Championship as well as an AA State semifinalist. During her time at Crestwood, Blass was named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State multiple times. She graduated from Lafayette in May 2015 with a degree in Biochemistry.

Sara Myers
Assistant Coach
Myers began her second stint as the head field hockey coach at Wilkes University in 2014 after serving in the position for fve years from 2005-2010. She enters her eighth season in 2016. In her seven seasons at the helm, Myers teams have went 78-57, the highest winning percentage (.577) by a coach in school history. In the squads best season in 2008, the Lady Colonels finished 18-4, the most wins in a single season in school history and a trip to the ECAC postseason tournament. A year later, Wilkes finished 15-4 and made its second straight trip to the postseason. Wilkes became regionally and nationally ranked during both seasons for the first time in school history. Myers was named Freedom Conference Coach of the Year following the record-breaking 2008 campaign. Over her seven years at Wilkes, Myers has coached 25 Freedom Conference All-Conference players and four Rookie of the Year selections, including 2014 honoree Marissa Surdy who also earned NFCA All-Region honors fpr the second straight season in 2015. During her first stint at Wilkes, Myers also served as the schools Senior Woman Administrator where she supervised the departments graduate assistants and helped develop fundraising initiatives. Myers most recently worked as an administrator/academic advisor at Luzerne County Community College since 2011. Prior to Wilkes, Myers spent one season as head coach at the University of Scranton leading the squad to the conference championship game on way to being named Coach of the Year in 2004. Myers was a standout player at Crestwood High School and was a member of four District 2 championship teams. She earned All-Wyoming Valley Conference honors and was also a member of the Academic All-State team. Myers earned her bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Susquehanna University, where she was also a four-year starter on the field hockey team. A team captain during her senior season, she earned the team's Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year awards following both her junior and senior campaigns. An All-Commonwealth Conference selection as a senior, Myers was also a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll. After graduating from Susquehanna in 2002, Myers went on to Goucher College where she spent two seasons as an assistant field hockey coach. Myers also garnered her master's degree in Athletic Administration and Leadership from the Maryland-based school in 2003. Myers and her husband Greg have two daughters, Allie and Emma.
