Follow Seth Wing on Twitter: @SethWing7 Seth Wing was named the head baseball coach at Winona State University, as announced by WSU Athletic Director Eric Schoh on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Wing heads into his fourth season in the Warrior dugout in 2026 and enters his 14th year overall as an NCAA baseball coach. Coming into the 2026 season, Coach Wing and the Warriors look to build on the success of the past couple of years and strive towards a deep playoff run this postseason. In 2025, Wing lead the Warriors to a 22-28 overall record and a 18-22 conference record, improving on the team's record from the previous season. In 2024, Wing received his 200th career win, defeating Davis & Elkins College 11-7. In 2024, Winona State was 11-11 at home within the cozy confines of iconic Loughrey Field and 5-9 in neutral site contests.  In 2023, Wing led the Warriors to a 18-16 NSIC record and earned a berth in the 2023 NSIC Baseball post-season tournament, a run which included a 8-7 extra-inning win over Minot State University.  Prior to his appointment at Winona State, Wing comes to the Warriors having most recently served as the head baseball coach and athletic director at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Wing has served as the head baseball coach of the Rams since 2012 and had been the AD since July 2020.  "We are excited to bring Coach Wing back to Winona State. He has a proven track record as a relentless recruiter and creator of winning programs. His ties to Warrior Baseball history and his vision for our future will allow for success in the classroom and on the field." said Winona State athletic director Eric Schoh.   In addition to his time at Cornell, Wing has eight years of collegiate coaching experience at Winona State where he served as an assistant coach between 2003 and 2011.  In his final three seasons with the Warriors, Wing was an associate head coach and a part of the program's most successful campaign when WSU advanced to the NCAA Division II World Series, earning the runner-up spot behind West Florida in the championship game.   Coach Wing said, "I would like to thank President Scott Olson, Athletic Director Eric Schoh, and the search committee for the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong professional goal as the next head baseball coach at Winona State University. It is an absolute honor to follow in the footsteps of former coaches Gary Grob and Kyle Poock. I am excited to build on the amazing tradition of Warrior Baseball! Wing leaves Cornell as the program's all-time wins leader in baseball, racking up 176 victories while with the Rams. Wing's teams at Cornell have posted a winning Midwest Conference South Division record in six of the past seven seasons and the 2019 squad finished just one win shy of the best-ever Cornell season win tally.    Wing earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Winona State and played both football and baseball for WSU between 1999 and 2003.  During Wing's time on the coaching staff, WSU won the NSIC Tournament in 2007 and earned NCAA Division II regional berths in 2007, 2010 and 2011.  Wing serves as a baseball camp instructor at the University of Iowa and also had stints coaching in the high school ranks, first at Maquoketa (Iowa) High School in 2000-01 and then at Blair-Taylor (Wis.) High School in 2002-03.  Wing officially begins his duties on July 18, 2022.  He will take over for Kyle Poock, who served as the head baseball coach at Winona State for the past 20 seasons, earning an overall record of 491 - 429 - 2 at the helm

Reilly is in his sixth season as a full-time assistant with the Winona State and eighth year overall with the Warrior baseball program going into the 2017 season. Reilly is also the teams recruiting coordinator and serves as the Warriors pitching coach. In his seven seasons on the Warrior staff, Reilly has proved to have a positive impact on the teams pitchers. He tutored Kodey Simon to All-Region honors in 2011 as the pitcher posted an 8-3 overall record and 2.04 ERA. Winona State had a 3.54 ERA in 2011 as the team advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship game and claimed the Central Region title. He also helped guide relief pitcher Mitch Voter to All-Region honors in 2015, posting a 0.39 ERA and tallied six saves in 16 relief appearances. He also had a pitcher named to the Northwoods League All-Star game during the summer of 2016. Simon and Andrew DeSousa both tossed complete games in regional tournament while Tony Mueller threw a complete game five-hitter in the Warriors victory over No. 3 Central Missouri in the first round of the NCAA Division II Championship. Reilly has also tutored Mueller in 2010 and Ross Hellenbrand to All-NSIC honors on the mound. Prior to joining the Winona State staff Reilly spent two years as an assistant coach at Iowa City Regina High School (2008-09). He has served as an instructor at the University of Iowa baseball camp. He received additional experience working in the front office of the Northwoods League during the summers of 2010 and 2011, handling the leagues public relations and marketing campaigns. Reilly was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter in the infield at Loras College. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Sports Management from Loras in 2007 and completed his Masters of Science degree in Educational Leadership at Winona State in 2011. AT WINONA STATE Was named Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach in fall of 2024. Helped coach Winona State to a 9-19 record in 2025-26 and 22-11 in 2024-25, including going to the 2025 Central Region semifinals. Earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the University of Dubuque and is completing a master’s degree in Leadership Education from Winona State.
