Ken Woodall
Head Coach
Ken Woodall is in his fourth season as head coach of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's and women's track & field programs. No stranger to the Milwaukee-area track & field circuit, Woodall most recently served as founder and head coach of the Greater Milwaukee Track Club for 21 years. As head of the club, Woodall coached several Division I and II athletes who posted qualifying standards to join their respective teams. Woodall has held assistant coaching positions at Milwaukee School of Engineering (2012-2017), Wisconsin Track Club (1997-1999), and UW-Milwaukee (1993-1997) where he worked primarily with sprinters. From 2001-2004, Woodall served as head track & field coach at Milwaukee Area Technical College, where two of his athletes qualified for nationals in 2003. Woodall was a four-year member of the track & field teams at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he competed primarily in the 400m, 800m, and 4x400m Relay. He graduated from UWM in 1993 with a bachelor of science degree in geography. Woodall and his wife, Lisa, live in Milwaukee with their son, Elijah, and daughter, Elisabeth.

Isaiah Herried
Assistant Coach
Isaiah Herried is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College cross country and track & field programs. A former standout distance runner for the Warriors, Herried enjoyed a decorated four-year career competing in both cross country and track & field from 2021-2025. He helped the Warriors to four straight runner-up finishes at the NACC Cross Country Championship, while establishing himself as one of the most accomplished runners in program history. Herried was a 10-time All-NACC honoree across cross country and track & field. He was a four-time All-NACC award winner in cross country, and his track & field accolades included All-NACC performances in the 800m, Mile, 1,500m, and DMR. He was also named NACC Student-Athlete of the Week four times during his collegiate career. One of the most versatile performers in WLC history, Herried holds school records in the DMR, 4x800m Relay, and 5,000m, while ranking among the top-five all-time in 10 different events. His personal bests include 1:56.74 in the 800m, 4:19.58 in the Mile, 8:45.38 in the 3,000m, 14:45.89 in the 5,000m, and 25:09.0 in the 8,000m. Excelling in the classroom as well, Herried earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors in cross country and was named CSC Academic All-District in track & field in both 2024 and 2025. A native of Necedah, Herried received his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Wisconsin Lutheran in 2025. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management with an expected completion date of Fall 2026. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Herried serves as an athletic administrative assistant at St. Marcus Middle School.
