Green's 13th as coach of XU's men and women. His highlights with the men include:        Active streaks of seven consecutive appearances at the NAIA National Championship, 68 consecutive appearances in the NAIA top 25 coaches poll that streak started April 4, 2007 and 38 straight appearances in the top 10.        Eight consecutive conference or NAIA unaffiliated group championships (2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013).        The Gold Rush have been in the final NAIA top 25 for 10 consecutive seasons and in the top 10 each of the past five seasons.        A 48-match Gulf Coast Athletic Conference regular-season winning streak.        Twenty-nine victories against NCAA Division I opponents.      Green's highlights as women's coach are equally impressive:        Nine victories at the NAIA National Championship, the most of any XU program.        The only team in XU athletics history to reach the NAIA's national semifinals. The Gold Nuggets did it in 2013 and 2014.        The first XU team to earn an NAIA No. 1 ranking. The Gold Nuggets climbed to the top spot in the coaches poll of April 16, 2013. They were No. 1 three times in 2013 and twice in 2014, and they were the No. 1 seed at the 2013 and 2014 NAIA National Championship.        Active streaks of four consecutive appearances at the NAIA National Championship, 30 consecutive appearances in the NAIA top 25 coaches poll that streak started May 1, 2012 25 straight appearances in the top 10 and three consecutive appearances in the final top five.        Six GCAC Tournament championships.        55 consecutive regular-season victories in GCAC dual matches.        Six straight appearances in the final NAIA top 25 (2004-10).      Green's teams have 60 victories against NCAA Division I opponents, 31 by his women.      Of the 34 male and female senior student-athletes to play for Green, 29 received degrees from Xavier or are still enrolled. In 2009, men's tennis standout Terry Richardson became the first Xavier athlete to be selected to an Academic All-District first team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.      Green was the women's Wilson/ITA NAIA National Coach of the Year in 2012-13, and he was Region IV Coach of the Year in 2012-13 and 2013-14. He was the men's Wilson/ITA NAIA Region IV Coach of the Year in 2011-12 and 2012-13. He has been GCAC women's and men's Coach of the Year numerous times and was All-Louisiana women's Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2013 and the men's Coach of the Year in 2009, 2011 and 2012.      Green, 41, is a New Orleans native and has two Xavier degrees. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology in 2002 and his master of arts in counseling in May 2008. Green was a tennis standout at XU and the GCAC men's singles champion his senior year, 2002. Soon after his graduation, Xavier hired him as men's and women's tennis coach to replace Charles Mosley.      Green and his wife, Brandy, are the parents of three daughters.
